Judg 10:6-10  And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim,
and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the
gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and
served not him. And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the
hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon. And that year they
vexed and oppressed the children of Israel: eighteen years, all the children of Israel that were
on the other side Jordan in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead. Moreover the children
of Ammon passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and
against the house of Ephraim; so that Israel was sore distressed. And the children of Israel
cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken
our God, and also served Baalim.

Judg 10:11-14 And the LORD said unto the children of Israel, Did not I deliver you from the Egyptians,
and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines? The Zidonians
also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I
delivered you out of their hand. Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore
I will deliver you no more. Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver
you in the time of your tribulation.

Jer 2:26-32 As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their
    kings, their princes, and their priests, and their prophets, Saying to a stock, Thou art my father;
and to a stone, Thou hast brought me forth: for they have turned their back unto me, and not
their face: but in the time of their trouble they will say, Arise, and save us. But where are thy
gods that thou hast made thee? let them arise, if they can save thee in the time of thy trouble:
for according to the number of thy cities are thy gods, O Judah. Wherefore will ye plead with
    me? ye all have transgressed against me, saith the LORD. In vain have I smitten your children;
they received no correction: your own sword hath devoured your prophets, like a destroying
lion. O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land
of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee? Can
a maid forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? yet my people have forgotten me days
    without number.

OT:3467 deliver
yasha` (yaw-shah'); a primitive root; properly, to be open, wide or free

Judg 10:15-16 And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us
whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day. And they put away
the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the
    misery of Israel.

OT:2895 good
towb (tobe); a primitive root, to be good (or well) in the widest sense:

OT:5337 Deliver

Judg 11:1-11 Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an
harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah. And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons
grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's
house; for thou art the son of a strange woman. Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and
dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with
him. And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against
Israel. And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders
of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob: And they said unto Jephthah, Come,
and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon. And Jephthah said unto
the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why
are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress? And the elders of Gilead said unto
Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against
the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead. And Jephthah said
unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon,
and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head? And the elders of Gilead said
unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.
Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain
over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.

OT:6605 Jephthah
pathach (paw-thakh'); a primitive root; to open wide (literally or figuratively); specifically, to loosen

Israel forsook  the Lord / Israel forsook Jephthah
The Lord had ‘opened wide’ / Jephthah means ‘He will open wide’
Israel turned to the Lord in their distress / Israel turned to Jephthah in their distress
Israel would take what seems ‘good’ / Jephthah comes from the land of Tob ‘good’
Israel repented to God 10:15 / Israel repented to Jephthah  11:8
Israel hated the Lord / Israel hated Jephthah
Israel wanted to cast out the Lord / Israel cast out Jephthah to seize the inheritance
Israel played the harlot / They get a harlots son for their deliverer/Christ accused of

Then in John 8 after the story of the woman caught in adultery we find!!!

John 8:36-41 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. I know that ye are
Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that
which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. They
answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were
Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man
that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds
of your father. Then said they to him, “We” be not born of fornication; we have one Father,
    even God.

Matt 21:37-39 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. But when
the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill
him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard,
    and slew him.

Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many
sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

John 15:18,26  If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. But this cometh to
pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
