Thank you for inquiring about serving with us at El Shaddai Ministries, by participating in the Worship Team
Ministry. Please note that a minimum of six months of regular attendance is required, before this application can
be filled out.

The worship team is an important part of the ministry, and being used as God’s tool to usher His people into His
presence, as well as learning to bring joy to the Father’s heart, and glorifying His name, is a calling that one should
not take lightly.  Being totally committed to El Shaddai as your home church, understanding the importance of
giving financially on a regular basis, (we must have some record on our books, whether cash or check), and
understanding the concept of the Hebrew Roots teaching, and learning to walk in it, is essential to a vibrant and
living sacrifice of Praise and Worship for El Shaddai Ministries. We are His tools, used to usher in the Holy Spirit,
to minister in Spirit and in Truth.  Worship is the tool that prepares the heart for receiving the Word, to break up
the fallow ground of our hearts, that all of us will be able to absorb what it is the Holy Spirit is teaching us
corporately, as well as individually.

Although we are not expecting perfection at all, we do desire that the heart is striving for that, and continually
seeking to understand what Abba wants for us in our lives. It is essential to live up to what you do know and
comprehend. The home life of a worship team member needs to come first, family is most important.  If you are
married, it is important that your spouse supports your commitment to this ministry, and that the home life is not
neglected, and if any children; that they are emotionally, spiritually and physically provided for above all things.
We do not provide child care for worship practice, and have none for the early Shabbat time as well. This needs
to be provided by the parents, whether through extended family, or friends, or other resources.

It is also important that regular attendance of El Shaddai is possible. Whether you are scheduled or not, if there is
only commitment that is part time, it is difficult to follow what the Lord is doing, and sets a poor example to others.
Those who only attend service, when scheduled, will be removed from this ministry. Also continual missing of
practice time, will also call for dismissal from the worship team.

Worship team practice - is at this time - 6:30-8:00 or 8:30. It is important for musicians to attend at least 3 out of 4
practices, and let the worship leader know if you are unable to attend.  In many circumstances, if practice is missed,
it will not work for a team member to play that following service.  This will be determined by the worship leader,
and depends upon what music is being prepared for the following service. (This does not apply to emergencies, or
sick children, as long as we are not doing a new song that you are not familiar with, it should be fine)  For those who
are unable to get there at 6:30, please arrive as soon as possible and we can go over what was missed after we have
finished the worship time, if necessary. Any Bible Study time will be either scheduled in the beginning of practice,
or midway through.

Shabbat practice starts at 8:30. It is important to be on time, as the new facilities have no place for the congregation
to wait for us to finish our practice time. The sooner we are finished, we can pray, and the congregation can come in
and fellowship and find their seats.

As we are building our team at this moment, I am hoping that most will be able to attend and that we are able to
have quality and focused practice. I am also hoping to incorporate bible study into the practice time, as soon as
things settle down in our new building.

If you have questions on any of these, put a question mark, and a Pastor will contact you and discuss this with you
as well.

Please review our

Men are allowed nice jeans, pants, nice shirts, dressy type t-shirts (that do not look like casual t- shirts). We do want

you are scheduled for the team that week or not.  Behavior must be Godly at all times, whether at services or else-
