As the sun goes down, make a joyful sound! That means shout a resounding "Welcome to our King of
Kings, Lord of Lords" and blow your shofar or horns as we celebrate in a wave of shofar blasts. If you
don't have a shofar or horn, a recording like this one will do. Jerusalem's celebration starts at sundown
(6:55PM) on September 8, 2010. Wouldn't it be wonderful to join them as Yom Teruah, the Day of
Trumpets, begins in the city of His throne as well as our own individual sundowns? He will hear all His kids
at once, and then hour after hour sounding the alert, bringing in this feast. Is this going to be another dress
rehearsal or will this be the eminent fulfillment of the Feast of Trumpets heralding the ultimate coronation
celebration?!! (Click here for a simple sundown calendar. Find your city or one in your time zone, then
click on "calendar" to find September 8th.)
Here is a link to learn all about this feast from an Orthodox Jewish perspective. They don’t know Messiah
but they do have some great insights and fun activities for the kids and some great recipes!! If you want to
learn more about traditional ways to celebrate, visit this Feast of Trumpets/Yom Teruah/Rosh Hashanah!
Greetings to everyone from around the world! You know how at sporting events they have “the wave”
where one group starts it and then it cycles all the way around and back to the beginning? Do you
remember when at the year 2,000 they showed on television all the New Year celebrations going on
around the world as the New Millennium began? Here is what I want to propose: Let’s have an around the
world shofar assembly in every time zone on the Feast of Trumpets. For example it will be at sunset the
evening of September 8th, Pacific time in the USA. We will be announcing to Messiah we are awake and
anxiously anticipating His return. What a dress rehearsal! Won’t that stir His heart!!
There are many names in the Bible for Messiah. So, what's your favorite? Is it the Rose of Sharon, the
Prince of Peace, the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings? Or do you prefer Adonai or El Shaddai? We want to
know which name you will be "shouting for" during the wave?
"Come Moshiach! Come!" "King of Kings, Lord of Lords!" "Baruch Haba B'Shem Adonai"
If safety and security are issues for you, we will not use your "City, Country or Name" if you indicate that in
the comments.
Be Blessed,
Pastor Mark
If you want to participate, let me know if you want to be listed as:
an individual,
group or
congregation
We are posting your entries exactly as you indicate on the form below. If you have family or friends that
you know in a timezone not yet covered (track responses as push pins on the map) who are willing to
participate, get them in contact with us to participate! May this be the first worldwide dress rehearsal of
believers in unity calling out to our King!
Do you know anyone in the blank locations shown below? Would you help us by directing
them to the Yom Teruah Wave? We want all time slots filled with God's people cele-
brating his appointed time - letting him know we're awake and want him come back as
King of Kings, Lord of Lords!!!
