A Project of El Shaddai Ministries

And The American Alliance of Jews and Christians

Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides upon
the heavens by his name YAH, and rejoice before him. (Psalms 68:4)

Our Goal:
In a show of solidarity with the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob, the following churches/organizations will read what Yeshua (Jesus)
called the Greatest Commandment (Matt 22:37-38, Mark 12:28-30) from the
Torah during their weekend service this coming August 13 or 14th. This
weekend was chosen for several reasons. The Torah portion that will be read
in every synagogue around the world for that weekend will be from
Deuteronomy 3:23 through chapter 7:11.

The suggested reading from this Torah portion is the greatest commandment
found in Deuteronomy 6:4-9 that we love the Lord with all our heart, mind
soul and strength. It is known in Judaism as the Shema and begins with
asking Israel to hear and obey the Lord and realize He is the one and only
God. So Christians will literally be joining a chorus of voices proclaiming on
earth and to the heavens that the God of Israel is the One and Only God.

Below is the verse in English as well as transliterated Hebrew.

Deuteronomy 6:4-9 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is
one! "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all
your soul, and with all your strength. "And these words which I
command you today shall be in your heart. "You shall teach them
diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in
your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and
when you rise up. "You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and
they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. "You shall write them
on the doorposts of your house and upon your gates."

That weekend also is known as the Sabbath of Comfort as it follows the three
week period known as the dire straits. It begins with the 17th of Tammuz,
July 19th this year, when historically Moses destroyed the golden calf and
ends with the 9th of Av, August 9th this year when the spies rejected the
Promised Land.  So that very weekend begins the time when we are to speak
comfort to Jerusalem.

Isaiah 40:1-5
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye
comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished,
that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand
double for all her sins. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare
ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

The Bible says to give God no rest until He makes Jerusalem a praise in the
earth.

Isaiah 62:6,7 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall
never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD,
keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make
Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

It is the time for Christians, that make mention of the Lord to not keep silent!
